Cross Country - Sunday, April 1
In Sunday's KENDA Cross Country event, the high temperatures and long distances (by early season standards) promised for some serious attrition in addition to the serious competition. Georgia Gould (Team LUNA) and Geoff Kabush (Team Maxxis) proved they were tops on the weekend, taking their third and second wins, respectively, and continuing the success of their phenomenal early season form.
There were over 100 starters in the men's race, and by the end of the four 10 mile laps it was Geoff Kabush (Team Maxxis) who won in a time of 2 hours and 28 minutes. Todd Wells (GT-Hyundai) came second at just under a minute back of Kabush, and Ryan Trebon (Kona) took third. Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (Subaru-Gary Fisher), and Adam Craig (Giant), who both also had very strong weekends, finished in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Taking some care in the heat, Shonny VanLandingham (Team LUNA) finished fourth, while Kelli Emmett (Giant) took fifth.
